Promec is now IIN Solutions – new name, wider range of services and international growth potential

Headquartered in Oulu, Finland, IIN Group Ltd. (”IIN”), has acquired the full capital stock of Promec Oy. As a result of this transaction Promec Oy is now called IIN Solutions Ltd. The new name brings about a significant change: we are now better able to offer our customers a wider range of solutions that cover the entire value chain – from design to the finished product.

IIN Solutions Ltd. combines Promec’s strong technical expertise, infrastructure and customer portfolio with IIN’s international network, product strategic expertise and growth potential. The company has two focuses of business:
– Production Automation Solutions
– Manufacturing Services

In 2024 the company employed 30 people, and we will keep strengthening our team with new talents.

The CEO of IIN, Teijo Fabritius, says: ”This is exciting news, as this acquisition combines the strengths and unique areas of expertise of both companies to serve our customers even better. The combination of knowledge, experience and resources will enable us to make faster deliveries and provide our customers with the best automated manufacturing systems.”

The previous CEO of Promec and now Director of Manufacturing Services Petri Rimpeläinen adds: ”We have been familiar with the principles of IIN for many years through previous collaborations and we look forward to the combined possibilities of our two organizations and growing our business.”

IIN Solutions Ltd. has offices in Finland (Oulu) and the United States (Boston). The company is owned 100 percent by IIN Group Ltd., providing a solid base for international growth.
